Contact our office to book ice for your training camps this season. Our on-ice staff is available to assist in the design and implementation of your camps. We can also assist your team with Hitting Clinics, Shooting Clinics, Systems, Power Play, Penalty Kill, and other essential areas of hockey.

Andrew Shorkey – General Manger

Graduate of McGill University, BSc in Physiology with a minor in Economics
Winner of the Ivan Tennant Award for the top academic high school player in the OHL
Played for the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL from 2005-2007
Previously the manager of NTR Richmond Hill for 5 years
Curent OMHA and GTHL AAA/AA coach
High level skills instructor
Head coach for the CCIHA. Has traveled to China many times to coach
Available for private lessons and elite classes

Ben Alavie – Manager/Head Instructor

Completing MsC in Sport Psychology and Concussion research at the University of Toronto
Graduate of York University, BA in Psychology
Played for the Brampton Battalion in the OHL from 2007-2010
Head Coach in the Richmond Hill Coyotes Organization from 2015-2017

Dave Mooney – Power Skating and Skills

Currently coaching the junior varsity program at the Hill Academy
Played 3 years of Provincial Junior A hockey with the North York Rangers
Played varsity hockey for 3 years with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues
Spent 2 years running the Seneca College Hockey Camp as its program director
Hockey skills instructor with various teams and programs for the past 9 years
Coached at the Hill Academy for 3 years
Assistant coach for the North York Rangers (provincial Jr. A) in 2014-15
Current assistant coach for the Aurora Tigers (provincial Jr. A)

Greg Redquest – Goaltending Director

Goalie Instructor
Greg brings with him 30 years of coaching experience that includes working with a range of athletes from learn to skate goalies to Professional National Team athletes
Greg has been the goalie coach from such team as the Barrie Colts , York University OUA and is currently the head goalie coach for the 2011 OHL Championship team, Owen Sound Attack. Greg is also in his 22nd year as the National Training Rinks Head Goalie Instructor.
Played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and Oshawa Generals
OHL All-star goalie and first goalie selected in the 1976 draft.
Greg and his goalies have won the Dave Pinkney Trophy 2 times and CHL Goalie of the Year 3 times.
